The National Invitational Tournament (NIT) released its tournament schedule today, pitting the Stony Brook men’s basketball team against the University of Illinois at 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Stony Brook Arena and will be broadcasted on ESPNU. The Seawolves (22-9, 13-3), an America East Conference team ranked eighth in the NIT, will be meeting the Illinois Fighting Illini (19-14, 10-8), a Big Ten Conference team ranked first in the NIT, for the first time in school history. |
