The weeks continue to go by here on campus as classes blaze along at a pace that could make heads spins. Week three at Stony Brook University was relatively quiet, considering the first couple weeks, but still featured some unexpected events as only SBU can deliver. However, I can’t just not mention the epic amounts of rain that our area has been deluged under.

While week one here at Stony Brook University marked itself by being busy with personal obligations, adjusting to new people, and coming to grips with the new situation I found myself in, week two could have been considered just more of the same - but with different twists.

Stanley Jr., currently the vice chancellor for research at Washington University in St. Louis, has been nominated to be the next president of the university.
