Iron Chef Cooking Demonstration

Students at Stony Brook University will get an important lesson in cooking up interesting and flavorful meals from one of the world's leading lecturers on the topic of food: Masaharu Morimoto, better know as TV's flamboyant "Iron Chef."

The accomplished Japanese chef will give a cooking demonstration for students, faculty, and the general. He will be assisted in the demonstration by Stony Brook students, many of whom are devoted students of his highly-acclaimed research into what makes an exquisite meal.

The Iron Chef also will autograph copies of his books following the demonstration, and later in the day will prepare dinner for a select group of students' raffle prize winners in a fund-raising effort to support victims of Hurricane Katrina.
