The Stony Brook Photo Club

Two years ago, the first Stony Brook Photo Club was founded. It is a graduate student club, financed by the GSO, in which any student can participate.

We would like to invite any student who is interested in photography to visit our website: we have a photo gallery where everyone can post their pictures. We also feature a so-called "content management system" that allows our registered members to post articles and news (similar to what is used by the Independent). Finally we also have an active forum for open discussion on any topic related to photography.

In the past, we have held interesting talks from professional photographers who came to our club to share with us their advice and experiences. We have also had a couple of interesting field trips to take pictures together and we really hope to see our small community to grow with many new members.

And don't forget! It is all about the pictures!
