Student Robbed Near Computing Center

By Andy Friedman A male student reported that at approximately 11:40 p.m. Thursday night, he was confronted by three males wearing dark clothing, skeleton masks and gloves along the path between the Computing Center and Circle Road. The males pushed him to the ground, took his backpack, and ran in the direction of the Engineering buildings. The student was not injured. This robbery came less than 24 hours after a similar incident, when a man approached two females students and attempted to steal one of the their purses. Interim Police Chief Doug Little could not be reached for comment.
