So, it begins. Word 2007 comes with a new file format, open and XML based. (or so they say.) We got one the other day, and nobody knew what to do with it. So for future reference, you can actually download a compatibility pack from Microsoft for previous versions of Word. If you're using Word 2007 yourself, there might be some cases in which you want to avoid using features that are unavailable in previous versions. To do this, you can learn how to turn on compatibility mode so that those features are disabled. |
