I’ve been having a pretty mellow and relaxing break, made better by the shopping season. From sales to make-up to sun protection, here’s what I’ve seen and loved from the day-before-Christmas shopping frenzies and the post-Christmas sales.

Christmas is right around the corner and I just had the men's edition of the holiday shopping guide out. Now it’s the women’s turn. Time for all the men (boyfriends, fathers, brothers… did I mention boyfriends?) to bone up on the fashion wants of 2009.

Marc Jacob’s latest scent, "Lola," is so amazing that the man behind the counter had to rip the tester out of my hand. The bottle is in the shape of a supermodel and the cap is in the shape of a flower with colors of purple, red and coral.

If you’re headed to the city, be careful - it’s far more crowded than normal. Why, you may ask? It’s fashion week for the spring 2010 collections. And although it’s unlikely for someone to be walking around campus in a couture gown, we can still take styles from the runway and adopt it to our everyday styles.
